Unravel & Open: Active stretching for the legs & outer hips

60 Minute Class

This class guides you to unravel the outer layers of the legs, activating the IT band and piriformis through active stretching to build strength, mobility, and proprioceptive awareness. Using a yoga belt, we learn to activate and engage the outer hips and legs, waking up the sensory receptors in these often-overlooked areas to create a clear, embodied connection with your lower body.

Active stretching combines muscle engagement with lengthening, allowing you to build strength as you open, enhancing stability while increasing flexibility safely. This method supports joint integrity, improves functional mobility, and helps release tension in a sustainable way.

We work progressively, allowing you to meet yourself where you are, and move toward a deeply opening pigeon pose with support and clarity, leaving you with a sense of spaciousness, strength, and ease in your hips and legs.
